This poetic painting depicts a young woman in a traditional outfit, a beautiful kimono in soft and pastel colors contrasted by the ornamentations of flowers that gives a spring spirit, sublimated by a belt revealing motifs of birds, animal venerated in Japanese culture, symbol of freedom.
Like a bird, it takes flight it puts on a dress with brilliant and geometric aspects with long sleeves like the wings of a majestic bird.
The bridal bouquet is made with lily of the valley, it embodies love, luck, happiness, renewal and joy.
The man in a light-coloured suit brings to the painting a touch of romanticism underlined by the floral scenography of the Japanese wave which takes up the interpretation of the revival in Japan with the association of cherry blossoms and Provençal baskets.
This painting inspires tenderness, elegance and traditions.
